Job Description

As a Purchase / Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing procurement and vendor development systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Sourcing and negotiating with potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities, and evaluating their suitability based on predefined criteria. - Developing and implementing procurement and vendor management strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings. - Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and contracts. - Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing practices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to align procurement activities with business goals. - Monitoring market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors affecting procurement decisions. - Optimizing inventory management and procurement processes using data-driven insights. - Leading and mentoring the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Managing supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly. - Analyzing inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs. - Continuously evaluating and improving procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements. - Preparing and presenting reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings to higher management. - Implementing sustainable and socially responsible strategic sourcing practices, including supporting local suppliers and promoting ethical sourcing. - Staying updated on regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to lead negotiations with suppliers, develop procurement plans, optimize stock levels, and continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices. The company offers Provident Fund benefits for this full-time position with a day shift work schedule at the in-person work location.,
