Purchase Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong knowledge of ERP systems and prior experience in Construction (Road, Bridge, Railways) procurement. The candidate should be skilled in vendor negotiation, material procurement, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement for construction projects
• Vendor & supplier development and management
• Negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Prepare & monitor purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules
• Ensure timely availability of materials at site (Road/Bridge/Railway projects)
• Coordinate with Project, Accounts, and Stores departments

Requirements:

• Graduate / MBA (Preferred in Supply Chain / Management)
• 5+ years of purchase experience in Construction industry (Road/Bridge/Railways)
• Proficiency in ERP software & MS Office
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, machinery, etc.)

Salary: ₹35,000 to ₹45,000
