Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Manager – FMCG (Biscuits, Chocolates) - RM & PM, located in Hyderabad. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and packaging materials, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and implementing cost-saving strategies. Additionally, the Purchase Manager will collaborate with various departments to forecast material requirements and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG sector
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting techniques
• Ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience in the food industry, especially in biscuits and chocolates, is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
