Job Description

Purchase Executive / Purchase Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Procure raw materials such as
intermediates, excipients, solvents,
and
packaging materials
as per production requirements.
Liaise with
suppliers
and
vendors
to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain strong
vendor
relationships and ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
Monitor
inventory
levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams for efficient stock management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards related to purchasing.
Prepare
purchase orders, track shipments,
and maintain accurate procurement records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth operational workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in any discipline.
2 to 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Knowledge of raw materials used in API manufacturing, including intermediates, excipients, solvents, and packaging materials.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and prioritize procurement based on business needs.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
