Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management, negotiations, and maintaining inventory levels in line with organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and stores for stock replenishment.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
Coordinate with accounts and finance for payment processing and invoice reconciliation.
Stay updated with market trends to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
Prepare reports on procurement, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (2–5 years) in purchasing or procurement, preferably in [your industry].
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
