Purchase Executive

Job Title: Executive – Logistics

Experience Required: 2 - 4 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out outside market purchasing of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and other operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships in the local/regional market to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Verify material specifications with production and quality teams before purchase.
• Coordinate with the stores and accounts teams for GRN, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain updated vendor lists, price records, and purchase documentation.
• Monitor market trends, identify new suppliers, and evaluate alternatives to strengthen the supply base.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and audit requirements.
• Regularly visit local markets to track availability, price fluctuations, and supplier performance.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in FMCG/Food/Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of outside/local market purchasing.
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and ensure on-time procurement.
• Willingness to travel for local purchasing requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
