Purchase Executive

You will be responsible for handling purchase orders and ensuring smooth procurement processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Processing purchase orders by coordinating with suppliers or vendors - Monitoring stock purchase by analyzing market conditions, current stock levels, lead time for manufacturing, potential price increase, anticipation of new orders, and supplier conditions - Evaluating market and delivery systems to assess material availability - Ensuring all purchases adhere to mandated guidelines - Conducting quality checks on incoming materials - Managing vendors and exploring new vendor opportunities - Coordinating with logistics/warehouse and customer service for streamlined operations - Monitoring stock flow and system upgrades - Inspecting stock for any defects or inconsistencies and reporting them promptly - Submitting assigned reports and MIS reports to the respective manager regularly - Attending meetings as required In terms of competencies, you should possess: Technical & Strategic Skills: - Proficiency in computer applications - Technical knowledge of the relevant products Behavioral Competencies: - Ability to make sound judgments and decisions - Conflict resolution skills - Strong organizational abilities General Competencies: - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment The ideal candidate should have 2 to 3 years of experience in the Fasteners industry. A post-graduate degree or an MBA (Mechanical Engineer preferred) is required for this role. The office timing is from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Saturday.
