Purchase Executive

As a Purchase Executive at KAT Construction Pvt. Ltd. located in Dayal Bagh, Agra, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the procurement of materials at the best possible rates and quality for construction projects. You will play a crucial role in the purchasing process by researching and comparing suppliers" prices, negotiating deals, and placing accurate purchase orders based on inventory needs. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to facilitate timely dispatch and delivery of materials to construction sites, tracking shipment schedules, and ensuring on-time arrivals. Effective communication with site managers to understand their material requirements and addressing any issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery promptly will be essential. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, tracking order statuses, and evaluating vendor performance based on delivery times and product quality will also be crucial aspects of your role. You should possess strong negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software ERP, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ideally, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field, along with 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction sector. Certification in Purchasing or Procurement would be a plus. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring a reliable commute or relocation to Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
