Job Description:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating various goods for the organization. The Purchase Executive will also be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source commodities like spices (dry chillies especially) , pulses, rice, millets, jaggery, etc., from reliable suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
• Conduct supplier visits and procurement planning based on shipment schedules
• Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier database
• Coordinate with QC, documentation, and logistics teams
• Stay updated with commodity market trends and pricing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
• Admin & other requirements of the company.

Qualifications:

• Any Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong communication in English & Tamil
• Willingness to travel within & out of Tamil Nadu
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and basic procurement process
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Knowledge on INCOTERMS
• Excellent written English communication skills
