Job Description

Interior Fit-Out Purchase Executive – Key Responsibilities1. Procurement Planning & Sourcing

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for interior fit-out materials such as furniture, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, fixtures, electrical items, and sanitary ware.
  • Develop a procurement schedule aligned with project timelines.
  • Source materials in line with project specifications, quality requirements, and cost constraints.

2. Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and timely delivery.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Obtain competitive quotations from multiple vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain purchase records and monitor budget utilization for each project.
  • Recommend cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.

4. Order Management

  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requests.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all procurement transactions.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of goods.

5. Quality & Compliance

  • Verify that materials meet the technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control and Project teams for inspection and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory regulations.

6. Inventory & Logistics Coordination

  • Track material availability and avoid shortages that could delay the project.
  • Arrange transportation, storage, and delivery to project sites.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for stock management.

7. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and the Design team to understand material requirements.
  • Liaise with Accounts for vendor payments and invoice reconciliation.

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain a database of suppliers, material specifications, and purchase history.
  • Prepare periodic purchase reports for management review.
  • Track and update procurement status for each project phase.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,024.92 - ₹36,760.78 per month
