Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for purchasing a wide range of
mechanical materials
, including precision components, press parts, sheet-metal parts, raw materials, and consumable items.
Manage the
end-to-end procurement cycle
identifying requirements, sourcing suppliers, raising purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
Plan and manage
material requirements
based on sales notes, production schedules, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure
material compatibility and specification compliance

Conduct
vendor development
, including identification of new suppliers, capability assessment, supplier onboarding, and performance evaluation.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms to ensure
cost-effective procurement
