Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive – Electrical Sales & Procurement to join our growing team in Mumbai. This role is critical to ensuring timely sourcing and procurement of electrical components and systems, while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electrical/industrial purchasing and must be ready to join immediately or on short notice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle day-to-day electrical and industrial product procurement for ongoing projects and inventory needs
2. Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure accurate order placement, timely delivery, and documentation
3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and maintain supplier relations for optimal purchase outcomes
4. Evaluate purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, and prepare comparative statements for management approvals
5. Track material movements, maintain purchase records, and follow up on pending orders
6. Support project teams with urgent or offshore purchase requirements
7. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and vendor evaluation processes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
2. 1–3 years of purchase experience in electrical or industrial components (marine/automation sector preferred)
3. Strong understanding of electrical products, cables, relays, control systems, and instrumentation
4. Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills
5. Working knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and documentation workflows
6. Ability to handle urgent project timelines, multitask, and travel locally if needed
7. Candidates based in Mumbai or nearby locations are preferred
8. Immediate joiners or those with short notice period will be prioritized
