*Profile* - Purchase Officer

*Qualification* - Graduate, B.Tech, MBA, M.Com or equivalent certification preferred.

*Salary* - Upto 3.6 Lac CTC

*Experience* - Min. 2+ years, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality materials, components, and services required for solar projects (Rooftop, Utility-scale, EPC, and Solar Equipment Manufacturing).

*Location* - Ahmedabad (Guj.)

*Key Responsibilities*

*Procurement & Sourcing*

Source and procure solar-related materials such as solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, batteries, BOS items, and installation accessories.

Float RFQs, compare quotations, prepare price comparison sheets, and finalize vendors.

Ensure purchase orders are issued on time according to project requirements.

Identify new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and annual rate contracts.

*Vendor Management*

Evaluate vendor capability, quality standards, supply capacity, and reliability.

Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews in terms of delivery, quality, and pricing.

*Material Planning & Coordination*

Coordinate with the project team, engineering, and stores to understand material requirements.

Plan procurement as per project timelines and ensure no material shortages.

Track purchase orders and follow up for timely dispatch and delivery.

*Cost Control & Optimization*

Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and alternate procurement options.

Achieve cost savings through effective negotiation and vendor development.

Maintain updated price lists and track industry benchmarking.
