Job Description

Purchase Executive

Sr. Purchase Executive

Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Source materials, equipment, and services required for the companys operations.
Negotiate with suppliers, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Issue purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues.
Coordinate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and ensure optimal stock levels.
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
Maintain and update procurement records, including supplier databases and purchase agreements.
Assist in cost reduction initiatives and contribute to process improvements.

Skill Sets/Experience We Require:

Work experience as a Purchase Executive, Procurement Officer, or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software like SAP, ERP experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Qualification:

Diploma / bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineering,
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
