Purchase Engineer

You will be an energetic Purchase Engineer at Smart Node, a leading brand in wireless home automation. Your role will involve independently managing procurement of electronic components and materials, vendor coordination, rate negotiation, inventory planning, and ensuring timely deliveries to support R&D and production teams. You will have the rare opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of purchasing activities, directly impacting product delivery, timelines, and profitability. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify, evaluate, and finalize suppliers for electronic components and materials - Issue and manage purchase orders and track deliveries - Coordinate closely with R&D and Production for accurate material planning - Maintain and update supplier records, purchase logs, and documentation - Conduct inventory checks and coordinate stock audits - Continuously scout for alternate suppliers and better deals **Qualifications Required** - 0 to 3 years of experience in electronics purchasing/procurement - Diploma, Degree, or B.Sc. in Electronics or related fields - Strong understanding of electronic components, BOM, and basic procurement processes - Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills - Quick learner with a proactive attitude and hunger to grow in the field - Ambitious self-starter looking to make an impact early in their career You will report to the Co-Founder / Operations Head and have the opportunity to be part of India's fast-growing smart home automation industry.
