Job Role: Purchase Engineer

Experience Required: 3–4 Years (preferably in a manufacturing organization, Delhi location)

Department: Supply Chain / Procurement

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 (Based on interview performance)

Role Summary:

The role involves sourcing, vendor management, price negotiations, and ensuring timely procurement of components and consumables critical to our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement of process instruments and electronic/mechanical components related to flow meters (Ultrasonic, Electromagnetic, etc.)
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international vendors
• Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
• Coordinate with Accounts, Product Development, Production, and Service teams
• Evaluate supplier performance and update the supplier database
• Handle import documentation and logistics coordination, especially for suppliers from Germany, Japan, and Russia
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering(preferably Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation)
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in procurement within the instrumentation, process control, or manufacturing sectors
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and coordination skills
