Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Engineer located in Mumbai. The Purchase Engineer will handle daily purchasing activities, including purchase order preparation, purchase planning, and management of procurement processes. Responsibilities include analyzing procurement data, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, and collaborating with internal teams to meet operational requirements while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning
• Proficiency in preparing and managing Purchase Orders
• Analytical Skills to evaluate procurement data, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize costs
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus
