Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for the position of Purchase Engineer located in Mumbai. The role involves managing the end-to-end purchasing processes, including procurement planning, issuing and monitoring purchase orders, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components. The Purchase Engineer will evaluate supplier performance, negotiate terms, maintain inventory levels, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company objectives. Attention to detail and analytical decision-making are integral components of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Planning
• Strong expertise in Purchase Management and Vendor Relationship Management
• Exceptional Analytical Skills for evaluating supplier performance and cost analysis
• Effective communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and relevant software for procurement
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is preferred
