Public Relations Senior Associate

AstaGuru, India’s premier online auction house, is seeking a proactive and creative Public Relations Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team in Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and share the voice of a brand known for curating and preserving India’s most valuable artistic and cultural assets.

Since 2008, AstaGuru has pioneered online auctions in India, celebrating masterpieces in modern and contemporary Indian art, rare antiques, vintage collectibles, and more. As our PR Manager, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our reach, growing media relationships, and managing external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and support PR strategies to enhance AstaGuru’s brand image and market presence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the art and luxury sectors.

• Draft and manage press releases, media kits, interview notes, and editorial content.

• Coordinate media outreach and press coverage for key events, auctions, and exhibitions.

• Monitor media activity, track coverage, and prepare performance reports.

• Assist in managing the brand’s reputation, including support during media-sensitive situations.

• Work closely with the Head of PR and marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within the art, luxury, or lifestyle industries.

Strong writing and content development skills.

Experience with media outreach and securing editorial placements.

Familiarity with both traditional and digital PR platforms.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

A team player with a collaborative and professional attitude.
