PR Executive

Role Overview

The PR Executive will support day-to-day public relations execution

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Media Relations & PR Execution

• Assist in drafting press releases, media notes, and interview briefs
• Support media pitching across print, digital, and electronic platforms
• Maintain and update journalist and publication databases
• Track media outreach, responses, and follow-ups

2. Content & Communication Support

• Draft basic PR content under guidance (press releases, quotes, notes)
• Prepare backgrounders and briefing documents for leadership interactions
• Ensure all communication aligns with approved narratives and guidelines

3. Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate interviews and media interactions for senior leadership
• Assist in scheduling, documentation, and pre-brief preparations
• Maintain confidentiality and follow approval protocols

4. Events, Campaigns & PR Support

• Support PR activities for events, campaigns, and announcements
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors when required
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging

5. Awards & Recognition Support

• Research relevant industry, CSR, NGO, and excellence awards
• Assist in documentation, submissions, and follow-ups
• Support post-recognition media amplification activities

6. Reputation & Issue Monitoring

• Monitor news and digital media for brand mentions
• Escalate negative or sensitive coverage immediately
• Assist in drafting clarification or response notes under supervision

7. Influencer / Public Figure Support (Non-Commitment Based)

• Assist in research and documentation for influencers, RJs, or public figures
• Support outreach efforts strictly on a best-effort, non-guaranteed basis
• Ensure all activities are approved and compliant with internal guidelines

8. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare monthly PR activity and coverage reports
• Maintain records of media coverage, outreach, and communication logs
• Support internal reviews and client reporting requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, PR, Marketing, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in PR agency, media house, NGO, or corporate communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Hindi preferred)
• Understanding of the Indian media ecosystem
• High attention to detail and professional ethics

Good-to-Have

• Experience working with NGOs, CSR, or institutional clients
• Familiarity with press release formats and PR workflows
• Basic media monitoring and reporting experience
