Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

PTC Windchill Consultant / Lead

with 12+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in

PTC Windchill PLM

implementations, upgrades, integrations, and support. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize PLM solutions aligned with enterprise digital transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end PTC Windchill PLM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Windchill functional and technical solutions.
  • Configure and customize Windchill modules including PDMLink, MPMLink, and ProjectLink.
  • Design and implement change management processes (ECR, ECO, ECN).
  • Manage BOM (EBOM/MBOM) structures, part lifecycle, document management, and workflows.
  • Develop and customize workflows, lifecycles, access control, and object types.
  • Perform Windchill integrations with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and other enterprise applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior team members, and conducting design reviews.
  • Support data migration, system validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and system security standards.
  • Act as a key liaison between business users, engineering teams, and IT stakeholders.
Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill 10.x / 11.x / 12.x
  • Expertise in Java, J2EE, Windchill customization, OOTB configurations
  • Experience with Info*Engine, Windchill REST APIs, and Web Services
