Job Description

Role Overview: As an RFP Proposal Writer in the Business Development team, your primary responsibility will be to create clear, compelling, and client-focused proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. You will be expected to transform complex technical and business information into persuasive narratives that showcase organizational strengths, compliance, and value propositions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough analysis of RFP/RFI documents to understand client requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines. - Engage in strategy discussions to develop win themes and positioning strategies. - Write, edit, and format proposal content in a concise, persuasive manner customized to client needs. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to convey technical information persuasively. - Tailor responses to emphasize organizational differentiators and competitive advantages. - Ensure proposals adhere to compliance, formatting, and submission requirements. - Maintain a library of templates, boilerplate content, and past submissions for future use. - Coordinate with sales, finance, legal, and technical teams to gather inputs and approvals. - Manage internal reviews and revisions to deliver polished, client-ready proposals. - Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, tone, and consistency. - Incorporate feedback from reviewers and refine processes for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in RFP/RFI/RFQ proposal writing, preferably within IT, consulting, or professional services. - Strong understanding of proposal processes, including IDIQ task orders and FAR compliance. - Excellent ability to write persuasively for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong project management skills to handle multiple deadlines effectively. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience with document collaboration and design tools such as InDesign, Canva, and MS Visio is a plus. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. - Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).,
