We are looking for a Proposal Writer to support State, Local, and Education (SLED) IT consulting opportunities within the U.S. public sector market. The ideal candidate will develop persuasive, compliant, and high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from government and education agencies. This role requires familiarity with SLED procurement processes and IT consulting engagements in the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and edit comprehensive proposals for IT consulting engagements in the SLED sector.
• Collaborate with capture managers, technical SMEs, and delivery teams to create clear and compelling proposal content.
• Ensure all proposals comply with state and local procurement standards, including formatting and submission requirements.
• Research agency-specific RFP trends and integrate insights into proposal strategies.
• Participate in color team reviews (Pink/Red/Gold) and revise proposals accordingly.
• Maintain a proposal content library for rapid response to recurring opportunity types.
• Oversee schedules, version control, and submission logistics for multiple concurrent proposals.
• Provide competitive and market intelligence using tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, and agency portals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Communications, Computer Applications (BCA), or B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT consulting within the U.S. IT market (preferably SLED).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content under deadlines.
• Excellent understanding of SLED procurement processes and IT solutioning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and proposal management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio).
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Any IT certification (e.g., CompTIA, PMP, Agile, or equivalent) preferred.

Preferred Attributes:

• APMP or similar certification in proposal management.
• Prior experience working with IT consulting or staffing firms targeting state, local, or education clients.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical and sales teams.
• Proven track record of contributing to winning proposals in the SLED market.
