This role is for someone who takes ownership, thinks analytically, and ensures every commercial and technical element of a proposal is precise, compliant, and profitable.

In this role, you’ll lead proposal estimation, costing, and bid management for marquee EPC projects in the Steel, Cement, and Boiler sectors. You will be the backbone of project pre-execution planning, ensuring full bid compliance, accurate costing, and timely submission of proposals, while mitigating commercial and contractual risks.

You will interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks, negotiate technically sound and commercially feasible solutions, and safeguard Ecomak’ s interests — factually, decisively, and efficiently

Deliverables:

• Review RFQs/RFPs for scope, compliance, and commercial clarity.
• Prepare costing sheets, BOQs, and turnkey system estimations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and vendors for accurate inputs.
• Develop techno-commercial proposals ensuring profitability and client alignment.
• Manage contractual terms (Incoterms, LDs, warranties, payment milestones).
• Ensure bid compliance, timely submission, and support client negotiations.
• Maintain cost databases, vendor rates, and proposal MIS.
• Follow procedures while enhancing proposal accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Chemical.
• 3–8 years in EPC/Turnkey projects with proposal engineering, costing, and bid evaluation.
• Strong techno-commercial skills: proposals, BOQs, estimations, RFQs, and tendering.
• Hands-on with mechanical equipment, Bag Filter sizing, and Air Pollution Control systems.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, EPC costing, and vendor coordination.
• Clear, fact-based customer interaction and communication skills.
• Task-oriented, accurate, and able to deliver complete, compliant, and profitable proposals on time
