Description
We are seeking a Proposal Engineer who will be responsible for preparing competitive and technically sound proposals in response to client inquiries, tenders, and RFQs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in technical drawings, tender document interpretation, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to present clear and cost-effective solutions to clients. This role is best suited for professionals with a background in Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering , and who have a practical understanding of project engineering and AutoCAD Key Responsibilities: Proposal Preparation: Develop complete technical and commercial proposals based on tender documents, client inquiries, and project scopes. Technical Review: Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare detailed proposals aligned with project deliverables. Cost Estimation: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to gather material and service costs, ensuring accurate pricing. AutoCAD Drafting: Prepare and edit basic layout drawings for proposals using AutoCAD, including P&ID, GA drawings, and flow diagrams. Client Communication: Participate in pre-bid meetings, clarify queries, and coordinate on revisions with clients during the proposal phase. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to ensure all technical inputs are captured and the proposal is feasible and optimized Qualifications: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Environmental Science OR B.E. / M.E. in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering Strong academic foundation and practical understanding of engineering principles Desired Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD for engineering drawings Understanding of treatment systems (STP, ETP, WTP) is a plus Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Comfortable with MS Office, tender portals, and documentation tools Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
