For our rapidly growing analyser system business, we need Proposal Engineer who understands proposal process, timely submission of proposals, understanding criticality of application and then select analyser technique most suitable for application. Offer preparation, all other necessary compliance/documentation preparation, prioritizing work, improving customer relations with basic knowledge on commercial terms is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of Tender / enquiry documents, understanding and analysing the client requirements. Costing preparation w.r.t approved vendor list available in tender. Else, pricing shall be arranged from Proven vendors. On time response submission for technical/commercial queries if any raised by client during offer evaluation. Preparation and compilation of complete proposal documentation (complying to technical and commercial aspects) for submission to client in line with bid documents and tender deadlines.

• Selection of right analyser technique (GC/ Laser based analyser /CEMS /3rd party other analysers) suitable for the application. Design of Sampling system based on supportive calculations (dewpoint, bubble point, pressure drop, Transportation time, Power, utility etc.,) for the offer preparation.

• Selection of right 3rd Party analyser for solution package offering by reaching various manufacturers. Should be good cost optimisation by analysing technically fit bill of material with various options and arrive at competitive offering.
• Should also have knowledge of applications related to safety, emission monitoring, AAQMS and measurements like SO2, Nox, CO, Mercury, Chlorine, Paramagnetic O2, Moisture etc. CPCB connectivity and related products.

• Review of the complete draft or purchase order receival, in case of award of contract. Contradiction if any w.r.t agreed terms of technical and commercial shall be listed and informed to client.

• Handover of technically and commercially cleared purchase order along with supportive proposal documents to Engineering team via internal kick off meeting for the smooth execution of the project.

• Should also exhibit skills like time management, collaboration, coordination, bid management, good communication skills, vendor management, new partner building etc.
