About the Company Mass N Void Design Consultants (APG) is a specialized infrastructure consulting services firm with projects PAN-India. MNVDC provides end-to-end, integrated building infrastructure solutions across all major sectors, including urban and rural infrastructure, energy, industrial parks, transportation, and waste management. About the Role We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing building plans and preparing quantity estimates, coordinating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers. To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills to coordinate with design team and vendors. As a quantity surveyor, your responsibilities focus on helping to estimate costs, material quantities and project timelines. A key part of the role will be to liaise with a range of other teams working on the project, helping it to stay on track. Responsibilities Review architectural plans and prepare quantity statements Estimate the quantity and costs of materials as per Govt. Schedule of Rates or derived Market rates Should be able to analyze project Plans and Schedule of rates of various states Prepare contracts and documents Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers Identify potential financial or construction risks Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the architect Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work Provide advice on contractual claims Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech Civil) 5 years of Building Projects construction & estimating experience Skills Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite Well versed with various schedule of rates of CPWD and State PWDs SORs Able to analyze financial and quantity records and apply data to improved results Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, pricing, and industry Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Preparing Bar Bending Schedules, Pay range and compensation package: 6-7.5 LPA 📩 Interested?
