Project Quantity Surveyor (Buildings)

Role Overview: As a quantity surveyor at Mass N Void Design Consultants (APG), you will be an integral part of the team responsible for analyzing building plans, preparing quantity estimates, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, clients, and site managers. Your methodical approach and strong interpersonal skills will be crucial in estimating costs, material quantities, and project timelines, and ensuring the project stays on track. Key Responsibilities: - Review architectural plans and prepare quantity statements - Estimate the quantity and costs of materials based on Govt. Schedule of Rates or derived Market rates - Analyze project Plans and Schedule of rates of various states - Prepare contracts and documents - Track changes in plans or constructions and update budgets - Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers - Identify potential financial or construction risks - Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work - Provide advice on contractual claims - Maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech Civil) - 5 years of Building Projects construction & estimating experience Additional Company Details: Mass N Void Design Consultants (APG) is a specialized infrastructure consulting services firm with projects PAN-India.
