Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Quantity Surveyor located in Chennai. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Duties will include preparing cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables, performing risk and value management and cost control, and preparing detailed progress reports. They will work closely with project managers to ensure that the project remains on budget and in accordance with the agreed-upon performance criteria.

Qualifications

• Skills in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
• Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed Cost Reporting
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to junior staff
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional certification or membership in a relevant industry body is a plus
