Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Monitoring Engineer with a strong background in hydropower projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring using Primavera P6 and related tools. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 , specifically tailored for hydropower project components (e.g., dam, tunnel, power house, intake, penstock). Track progress of civil, electro-mechanical, and hydro-mechanical works; prepare progress reports and S-curves. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders – engineering, procurement, site execution teams, consultants, and clients – to ensure timely progress. Support in the preparation and review of estimates, BOQs, resource planning, and budgeting aligned with hydropower-specific components. Identify critical paths, project delays, and propose mitigation measures to ensure project timelines are met. Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly dashboards and Earned Value Management (EVM) reports. Monitor construction progress against baseline schedules and issue alerts for deviations. Manage change control processes and analyze impact on timelines and resources. Attend project review meetings with clients and internal teams, presenting schedule status and forecasts. Ensure planning, documentation, and reporting are in line with contract requirements and client expectations. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficient in Primavera P6 (must), MS Project, and Excel. Good understanding of the complete hydropower project lifecycle . Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and present it effectively. Knowledge of tunneling, dam construction, power house erection, and related hydropower works is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience in client-facing roles is preferred. Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Hydropower Infrastructure Projects . Hands-on experience in large-scale hydro civil works such as headrace tunnel, surge shaft, underground cavern, etc. Prior experience working with EPC/PMC/Consulting firms in the hydropower sector is an advantage.
