Project Manager(WTP)

Job Summary

The Project Manager (WTP) will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing the Water Treatment Plant project within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. The PM will ensure smooth coordination between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

• Prepare detailed project plan, schedules, and work programs.
• Ensure timely execution of civil, mechanical, and electrical works as per approved drawings.
• Allocate resources, manpower, and materials effectively.

2. Technical & Site Management

• Monitor installation, commissioning, and testing of WTP components (clarifiers, filters, pumps, motors, pipelines, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate with structural, MEP, and process teams.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.

4. Quality Assurance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and checklist verification.
• Implement site safety protocols and monitor HSE practices.
• Ensure all materials meet technical specifications and approvals.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Monitor project expenses, BOQ, and billing progress.
• Minimize wastage and ensure optimum use of resources.
• Review vendor invoices and certify work done.

6. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain project documents including drawings, approvals, and inspection records.
• Coordinate for statutory approvals and compliance with regulatory norms.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of WTP processes and components.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
• Proficient in MS Project / Primavera, MS Excel, AutoCAD basics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and client-handling skills
• Qualifications
• B.Tech / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
