Project Manager_BMS_Shay

The BMS Project Manager is responsible for managing Building Management System projects from inception to completion. You will oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of BMS solutions, ensuring adherence to technical, quality, and safety standards. Collaboration with Consultants, PMC, clients, engineers, Internal team, and Sub-contractors is essential to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of BMS systems meeting specified requirements. Your responsibilities will include executing BMS projects, defining scope, setting project timelines, budgets, and allocating resources. Coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients is crucial to meet project deliverables. Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures, conducting risk assessments, and managing a team of engineers, technicians, Sub-contractors are key aspects of this role. Effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders, conducting regular team meetings, and working closely with design engineers to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards are essential duties. You will oversee the procurement of BMS equipment and materials, monitor project progress, ensure quality standards and industry regulations are met, and troubleshoot issues during system testing. Furthermore, maintaining communication with clients/Consultants, preparing daily progress reports, addressing client concerns, ensuring safety protocols, and compliance with building codes and regulations are paramount. Managing the project closeout process, reviewing final documentation, and conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement are crucial tasks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing BMS or similar building automation projects, proven experience in managing large teams and projects, strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, and energy management. Proficiency in BMS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Trane, strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines are required skills for this role.,
