We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and preventive care of HVAC systems. This role ensures that environmental conditions are maintained according to the required standards and is critical for supporting the safe and efficient operation of our systems. Key Responsibilities: HVAC System Operation & Maintenance: Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of HVAC equipment and avoid downtime. Manage day-to-day breakdowns and provide timely resolutions to HVAC system malfunctions. Coordination & Support: Work closely with the Building Management System (BMS) technician to ensure the environmental conditions are maintained per the required specifications. Assist the project department during the installation and commissioning phases of new HVAC systems. Coordinate with the Utility and Electrical teams during conditions monitoring and preventive maintenance activities. Liaise with external agencies, if required, to rectify breakdowns or resolve technical issues. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with all relevant safety protocols. Monitor and ensure that all HVAC activities are performed in adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Documentation & Training: Maintain and update necessary documents such as logbooks, PM checklists, and other required GDP documentation. Seek and complete relevant training programs to upgrade technical knowledge and skills as directed by the Manager-Engineering. Qualifications: Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care. Familiarity with BMS systems and their integration with HVAC operations. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the manufacturing environment. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams including utilities, electrical, and external agencies. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries).

What this job involves: Executing flawless technical activities Ensuring smooth day-to-day operation is a responsibility that requires impeccable leadership skills. As the go-to person in all things technical, youll keep the Company up to speed on operating and utilities costs. Together with the Engineering manager, you will monitor the invoices for technical services rendered. Aside from these, you’ll keep an eye out on the maintenance practices of our contractors to ensure that their scope of work is aligned with manufacturer recommendations and our own Preventive maintenance standards. You’ll also oversee the repair and maintenance of Electrical Panels, lighting fixtures, cooling and heating systems, plumbing and water supply and other equipment and supplies. What your day-to-day will look like: Assist the Engineering Manager/Chief Engineer in Operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and BMS installations at facility as per GRE OE guidelines Manage critical Environment operations and preventive maintenance programs. Ensure to Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M&E installations. Handle downtime, breakdowns, and incidents, generating reports as needed. Coordinate ad-hoc M&E setups and ensure contractors follow house rules. Proactive approach towards Energy management, Initiatives & process improvements. Oversee purchasing and stock management of spares and consumables. Track and update work orders, inspections, and closures in the Prism tool. Liaise with landlords on utility and facility-related matters to ensure 100% uptime. Ensure compliance with safety standards, GRE OE standards, and manage project coordination with vendors and the FM team. Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration and support team members. Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Familiarity with project management methodologies. Required Qualification and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in BE/B Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5 + years of experience or Diploma in Electrical with 7 years of experience. Contract Administration experience of 3 yrs or more required. Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements. Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems. Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required. Works in 6 days per week with rotational shift basis

Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC Engineering (preferred). Experience: 2+ years of experience in BMS operation, HVAC systems, or facilities management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in BMS software (Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.). Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of fire alarm and security systems. Soft Skills: Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team. Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): BMS Operator Certification HVAC or Electrical Maintenance Certification.
