Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager specializing in 220kV Switchyard projects, based in the Mohali district. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating with teams, overseeing inspections, expediting material and equipment delivery, and handling logistics to meet project requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of high-voltage substation projects, aligning with customer expectations and company standards.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Project Management and experience in overseeing large-scale 220kV or similar high-voltage substation projects.
  • Proficiency in expediting and expeditor tasks to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in inspection processes to ensure quality assurance and compliance within projects.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordination of transportation, inventory control, and timely delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with electrical and power distribution systems, particularly in EHV and HV substations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in power projects is an advantage.
