Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering projects involving Python and related technologies.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligning with business objectives and client expectations.
• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical and strategic guidance.
• Oversee the development of ETL/data pipelines, data lakehouse solutions, and cloud-native data warehouses, ensuring best practices in data quality, storage, and security.
• Serve as the main point of communication between clients and internal teams, clarifying technical details and translating requirements.
• Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and post-project evaluations to continuously enhance delivery excellence.
• Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in data engineering utilizing Python.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and complex project lifecycles.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks (ETL, data pipelines, cloud data platforms).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in technical consulting or solution delivery.
