Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:

    • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Manage the deployment of infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage) and enterprise banking applications.
    • Oversee UAT, production readiness, and go-live activities.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with various internal teams (IT, Operations, Security, Business Units) and external vendors/partners.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
    • Organize and facilitate cadence calls, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Reporting & Communication:

    • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
    • Prepare and present project dashboards, status reports, and documentation.
    • Escalate critical issues in a timely manner and ensure resolution.
  • Governance & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to the bank's project governance frameworks and change management processes.
    • Maintain compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with the InfoSec and Risk teams during deployment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  • Experience:

    7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in infrastructure or application deployment within the banking or financial sector.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases), enterprise applications, cloud/hybrid environments, and deployment methodologies.
  • Tools:

    Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow).
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Others:

    Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
