As a project manager, you will be responsible for the following: - Directing and managing project development from beginning to end. - Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management. - Developing full-scale project plans and communication documents. - Effectively communicating project expectations to team members. - Liaising with the team and management regularly. - Estimating manpower needed for the project. - Drafting budget proposals and recommending changes when necessary. - Costing, negotiating on manpower, materials, and overall budget. - Assessing the need for additional staff and making recruitments if required. - Managing project expectations with team members. - Delegating tasks to appropriate personnel. - Resolving issues and conflicts within the project team. - Managing project dependencies and critical path. - Planning project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. - Tracking project milestones and deliverables. - Developing progress reports, proposals, and presentations. - Managing changes in project scope and devising contingency plans. - Defining project success criteria and communicating them to the team. - Coaching, mentoring, and supervising project team members. - Building business relationships crucial for project success. - Conducting project post mortems and creating recommendations report. - Developing best practices and tools for project execution.
