Job Description

Job Title:

Project Manager – Drilling & Tooling Solutions

Reports To:

Manufacturing Lead

Purpose:

To manage the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring innovation, client satisfaction, and alignment with business goals in the drilling/tool/manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Define product roadmap and align with technology trends.
Coordinate with design, materials, and manufacturing teams for new product development.
Oversee prototyping, testing, and field trials for performance validation.
Act as primary client interface for 2–3 key accounts, providing status updates and managing expectations.
Ensure end-to-end delivery of client projects, balancing quality, cost, and timelines.
Apply project management principles to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Support IP management and innovation pipeline.
Drive cost optimization and manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications / Skills:

Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Design / Applied Mechanics / Tooling (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).
3–5 years of experience
in product development or product management in drilling/tooling/metal products domain.
Working knowledge of CAD and simulation tools (basic proficiency acceptable).
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Exposure to project management (certification like PMP is a plus).
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage timelines effectively.
