Project Manager

.This role is ideal for an experienced professional who will lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of custom Shopify storefronts, headless sites, and integrations. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and quality, while mentoring a team of developers and coordinating with designers and product managers. The position requires a strong technical background, including AWS deployment, server management, and CMS platforms, coupled with proven project management and QA expertise. You will ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, remote environment with global clients and cutting-edge e-commerce technologies.
Accountabilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for Shopify and headless site development projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery within budget
- Lead, mentor, and assign tasks to development teams, conduct code reviews, and maintain coding best practices
- Perform thorough QA testing on projects, ensuring specifications are met and deliverables are defect-free
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure designs and functional requirements are implemented correctly
- Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lightsail) and deploy serverless functions on NETLIFY
- Manage NGINX and APACHE servers running on Ubuntu and oversee DNS & SSL configurations
- Maintain project documentation, provide regular updates to clients, and use tools like Git, Github, Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp to track workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6-9 years of experience in project management and QA management, specifically in Shopify storefronts, headless sites, and integrations
- Strong technical expertise with Shopify Storefront 2.0 Themes, Nuxt.js, CRAFT CMS, WordPress, SWELL.IS, Contentful, Strapi, and Storyblok headless CMS platforms
- Experience managing and configuring AWS services and deploying serverless functions
- Proficiency in NGINX & APACHE configuration on Ubuntu servers
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience leading development teams
- Strong QA and testing experience, ensuring high-quality project delivery
- Familiarity with Git, Github, and project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp
Valid Passport and US visa preferred
