Job Summary

The Project Manager – Tractor Integration is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tractor integration projects across multiple engineering domains. This role ensures seamless integration of powertrain, hydraulics, transmission, electrical/electronic systems, and vehicle architecture to meet performance, cost, quality, and regulatory targets within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tractor integration projects from concept to drawing release.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical, chassis, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage system-level integration of engine, transmission, driveline, hydraulics, cooling, and E/E systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (emissions, safety, homologation).
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change management activities.
• Track cost, schedule, and resource utilization; ensure adherence to budget.
• Facilitate design reviews, integration reviews, and gate approvals.
• Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and management.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Agricultural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in tractor, off-highway, or automotive vehicle development.
• Proven experience in project management and vehicle/system integration.
• Strong understanding of tractor systems: powertrain, hydraulics, transmission, chassis, and E/E architecture.
• Experience managing cross-functional and supplier teams.
