Job Summary:
We are looking for a Project Manager to assist in managing software development projects from planning through delivery. The role involves coordinating between technical teams, business stakeholders, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. The ideal candidate should have a technical background, strong organizational skills, and a passion for driving projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing software development projects. Coordinate daily communication between developers, testers, and business stakeholders. Track project progress, manage task lists, and update schedules and status reports. Support the Project Manager in preparing project charters, timelines, and risk registers. Participate in requirement gathering, documentation, and change request management. Conduct project meetings, capture minutes, and follow up on action items. Monitor and report project performance using appropriate tools and metrics. Ensure project deliverables align with defined scope, standards, and timelines. Assist in resource planning and workload tracking. Identify risks or issues early and escalate appropriately. Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, software development, or IT operations. Knowledge of Agile or PMP principles (certification is a plus). Exposure to software development or testing environments is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Technical & Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies. Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project). Basic understanding of software concepts like APIs, databases, and integrations. Ability to analyze requirements and support technical documentation. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks. Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
