Project Manager (ODS & SAP Datasphere)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead / Project Manager with strong expertise in ODS (Operational Data Store) and SAP Datasphere to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end data integration and BI projects, managing teams, and driving excellence in solution delivery across global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁Lead and mentor a team of BI/Data Engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and performance management.

⦁Manage and deliver projects as part of the CoE, ensuring adherence to standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

⦁Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions using ODS & SAP Datasphere.

⦁Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and architectures.

⦁Ensure seamless integration, transformation, and flow of data across systems.

⦁Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.

⦁Drive the end-to-end project lifecycle — from requirement analysis, design, and development to testing, deployment, and post-production support.

⦁Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for task management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

⦁Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Expertise:

⦁10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Business Intelligence.

⦁Strong hands-on expertise in ODS (Operational Data Store) and SAP Datasphere.

⦁Proven experience in Project Management and Center of Excellence (CoE) environments.

⦁Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience, managing technical teams and delivery.

⦁Proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, and ETL processes.

⦁Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for workflow, versioning, and release management.

⦁Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have:

⦁Exposure to Qlik or other BI tools.

⦁Experience with SAP HANA and SAP BW.

⦁Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

⦁Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
