Project Manager ( IT Services )

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Project Manager to oversee software development, implementation, and IT service delivery projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT, hands-on experience in project management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Drive execution of multiple projects simultaneously ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional technical teams (Developers, QA, Designers, DevOps).
• Assign tasks, track progress, and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability across teams.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
• Gather requirements, provide regular status updates, and manage client expectations.
• Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical Oversight

• Provide guidance on technical feasibility, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure quality standards, coding practices, and compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers for technical solutioning.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project KPIs, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Prepare project documentation including reports, risk logs, and change requests.
• Ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT industry experience with at least 2–3 years in project management.
• Strong technical background in software development (Agile, SDLC, DevOps, Cloud, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and distributed teams.
• Strong decision-making and conflict resolution abilities.

Preferred Skills

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with international clients (US, UK, Canada, Middle East).
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
• Exposure to Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise IT solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
