Job Summary

We are looking for seasoned Construction Managers to lead and execute large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidates will come with a strong contracting background, proven experience managing multiple high-value projects, and deep knowledge of construction execution, budgeting, team leadership, and quality control. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on technically challenging and high-budget assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

• Prepare and manage detailed project execution plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, structural consultants, and third-party contractors.

Site & Execution Management

• Oversee daily operations at the construction site and ensure strict compliance with safety and regulatory norms.

• Monitor and track project milestones, proactively addressing delays or execution challenges.

• Ensure quality assurance processes are in place and followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Team & Resource Management

• Lead and supervise construction teams including project manager, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

• Allocate responsibilities, ensure manpower and material availability, and provide on-ground technical guidance.

• Evaluate team performance regularly, offering direction, training, and performance feedback.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Experience: 1520 years in a contracting firm.

• Project Exposure: Experience managing multiple projects (min 3 major construction projects) worth 100 Cr or more.

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, regulatory codes, and safety standards.

• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse on-site teams with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Project Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or other ERP tools used in construction management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Local Kannada-speaking candidates will be preferred for better communication with on-ground teams.

• Candidates from general contracting firms with experience across residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
