Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager for GBS Finance Transformation Implementation at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to manage finance transformation projects efficiently while ensuring they meet strategic objectives. This full-time position, based in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad, requires extensive expertise in project and stakeholder management, particularly in finance transformation initiatives. Your key accountabilities will include developing detailed project plans, managing and allocating resources, identifying and mitigating project risks, leading and motivating project team members, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders, managing the project budget, maintaining quality standards, monitoring project progress, engaging and managing stakeholders, overseeing project closure, and conducting post-project reviews for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this role should hold certifications in Project Management (PMP/CAPM/Prince 2) and Agile/Scrum Certifications (CSM, CSPO, PSM, CSP), along with a degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred, with 6-15+ years of experience in project management, change management, or business readiness. Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous, along with technical product management skills. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools, experience in developing programs and project plans, knowledge of common PM software tools, and expertise in working with IT leadership and coordinating focused programs. Additionally, you should be familiar with Agile techniques and methodologies, such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Agile Games. Key qualifications and skills for this role include proven experience in finance transformation projects, exceptional project management skills, proficiency in stakeholder management, extensive experience in change management, strong risk management skills, solid expertise in project planning and monitoring, and certifications in Project Management methodologies. Proficiency in agile methodologies is also essential to enable flexible and adaptive project management approaches. Your roles and responsibilities will involve leading and managing finance transformation projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders, developing project plans, monitoring progress, implementing change management strategies, conducting risk assessments, maintaining project documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing agile methodologies for project delivery speed and collaboration.,
