Project Manager

Title:

Mandatory:

• 8–10 years of overall experience, with at least

  3–5 years in project management

  roles.
• Prior hands-on experience or strong technical understanding of

  Ruby on Rails

  and

  Python

  frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI).
• Proven success in delivering Agile web and API-based applications.
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or equivalent delivery tools.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Celery, or task queue/background job architectures.
• Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience managing integration-heavy or multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Certifications like

  CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP

  or

  Scrum Master

  are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end delivery of RoR and Python-based application development projects.
• Define and manage project plans, sprint schedules, scope, resources, and release timelines.
• Work closely with developers, architects, QA, and DevOps to ensure delivery velocity and quality.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps engineers.
• Conduct Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on expectations, requirements, and priorities.

Technical Oversight

• Participate in technical discussions and solutioning; understand system architecture, APIs, and deployment pipelines.
• Review story breakdowns, effort estimations, and sprint scope with a developer’s perspective.
• Provide inputs to unblock technical teams and ensure adherence to coding standards and architecture principles.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify project risks, track mitigations, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor quality metrics, deployment readiness, and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and testing practices are consistently followed
