Project Manager - Air Pollution Control

Project Manager with strong execution capability in air pollution control equipment and industrial de-dusting solutions. Experienced in end-to-end project delivery. Proven ability to manage projects from concept to commissioning, coordinate with crossfunctional teams, and deliver technically sound, costeffective solutions. Adept at working in EPC environments with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project engineering activities for industrial air pollution control and de-dusting solutions.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality assurance across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, logistics, and commissioning teams for successful delivery.
• Monitor subcontracted fabrication activities and ensure adherence to delivery timelines and quality standards.
• Perform audits and capability assessments of fabrication vendors as part of vendor development.
• Perform technical and commercial capability assessments, audits, and evaluations of potential suppliers.
• Drive localization or cost-optimization initiatives through alternate sourcing and vendor performance improvement.
• Prepare RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and purchase orders in compliance with project needs.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and internal QA/QC teams.
• Interpret engineering drawings, bill of materials, and specifications to plan and execute projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards.
• Interface with vendors including technical evaluation and negotiation.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, drawings, inspections, and deliveries.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to design intent, safety norms, and project schedules.
• Support FAT, SAT, trial runs, and performance guarantee testing.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in industrial project management, with at least 3-5 years in air pollution control systems.
• Proven experience in capital equipment or heavy engineering sectors.
