You are being sought after by Vitaliz Biosciences for the position of Project Management Consultant, where your expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry will be utilized. As a retired professional with extensive knowledge in managing Greenfield projects, particularly in civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility areas, you will be instrumental in supporting the precision fermentation project. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Overseeing and guiding civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility infrastructure activities for new or upgraded production projects. - Leading project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution from design through commissioning and handover. - Coordinating and supervising contractors, architectural/engineering consultants, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery. - Identifying project risks, bottlenecks, and deviations; proposing and implementing corrective actions. - Supporting process improvement initiatives related to facility design, workflow, utilities, and construction execution. - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to project engineers, site supervisors, and cross-functional team members. - Ensuring project-related regulatory, safety, and GMP requirements are understood and met. Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements: - Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field. - 25+ years of experience in managing industrial, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology projects. - Proficiency in Malayalam is mandatory for effective communication. - Strong understanding of utilities, cleanroom construction, GMP facility requirements, HVAC, process piping, and equipment installation. - Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budgets, contractors, and cross-functional coordination. - Knowledge of regulatory, safety, and quality standards applicable to GMP manufacturing environments. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
