Project Engineer - Solar Energy

Job Location: Ulsoor, Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of solar projects, ensuring safety, quality, and design compliance.
• Assist in system design, component sourcing, and procurement with a focus on cost-efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with clients to understand energy needs and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare data-driven designs and reports.
• Maintain documentation, analyze performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and electrical codes.
• Create accurate and efficient solar photovoltaic (PV) system designs, including single line diagrams, site layouts, and equipment specifications, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including project proposals, system schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Diploma electrical or related field.
• 2 to 4 + years of relevant experience in solar or electrical projects.
• On-site experience.
• Good knowledge of suppliers.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, AutoCAD, and MATLAB, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborative.
