Project Engineer (MEP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to develop MEP system designs.
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, and budgets for the MEP aspects of the project.
• Ensure MEP systems are integrated into the overall project plans and timelines.
• Design & Documentation:
• Review and approve MEP drawings and designs to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with design consultants and contractors for MEP system integration and modifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material procurement lists.
• Site Supervision & Quality Control:
• Supervise MEP installation on-site and ensure work is carried out as per the approved designs and quality standards.
• Monitor site safety and ensure all work is conducted following the health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as per schedule and resolving any issues that arise.
• Procurement & Vendor Management:
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Review and approve MEP-related vendor proposals, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Testing & Commissioning:
• Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems to clients.
• Conduct system checks and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning as per the specifications.
• Ensure proper training of client staff for the operation and maintenance of MEP systems.
• Cost Control & Reporting:
• Monitor and control project costs related to MEP systems.
• Prepare regular progress reports and project documentation for management and clients.
• Ensure the project stays within budget, providing early warning of potential cost overruns.
• Compliance & Regulatory:
• Ensure MEP systems comply with local building codes, environmental laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
